We Educate!

Each customer is not only given a hard copy printout of their repair, but we provide an entire packet educating our customers about our facility, about our staff, about the insurance claim process in general, and how their car is repaired back to pre-accident condition.  We provide information explaining insurance terminology, brochures on our frame measuring systems and lifetime paint warranty, etc. as well as maintain a website where customers can browse at their own convenience.  Our goal is to have all customers walk away feeling knowledgeable and in control, as they should!

 

 

We Accommodate!

Aside from our professional and friendly staff, we try very hard to accommodate our customers and their unique needs!  Aside from the basic “night drop” box, we have met customers for early hour or late hour arrangements, offered concierge service, and work hard to deliver quality repairs in a timely fashion.  We order all parts prior to the customer dropping off their vehicle so we are ready to start the moment it arrives.  We keep our customers updated on any supplemental repairs that may delay pickup so they stay informed and can make arrangements accordingly!  We wash and vacuum every car, no matter how small the repair!

 

 

We Follow-Up!

We want every customer who walks out of our door to be 100% satisfied.  Therefore, we provide every customer with a customer satisfaction card, which we use to track our CSI.  Currently, based on the feedback received to date, we have a 99.6% customer satisfaction index!  And no matter how small the repair, we want every customer to know they are valued and appreciated… and are the very foundation of our business.  Each customer is sent a handwritten “Thank You” card to let them know just that!

COMPANY HISTORY / ABOUT THE OWNER:

   

William Dianella (Bill), the current owner of Hampton Body Works always had a passion for the automobile from grade school on through his adult years.  In 1976, Bill worked at Augusta Auto Body in Augusta, NJ.  There he learned the technical side of the autobody business.  Bill's passion was to own and manage a state of the art collision center.  That was when Bill met Jack Burke, the owner of Hampton Body Works.

Jack Burke was the originator of the name Hampton Body Works.  Mr. Burke was semi-retireda nd responsible for the every day running of, what was at the time, a three-bay body shop.  In 1984, Bill purchased the building, land and name from Mr. Burke.  Hampton Body Works has continued to grow ever since.  In 1988, we added on a 2,800 ft. addition which added a spray booth, frame machine and other updated technology / equipment.  In 1996, we purchased additional land to extend our parking lot.  With dedicated past and present employees, Hampton Body Works has become a state of the art facility that it is now.

In 1999, Bill wanted to be more diverse and started Hampton RV Trailer Sales.  We now have several trailer manfacturers we sell for with over 100 trailers in our inventory.  In 2000, we had the opportunity to purchase the 1.7 acres of property adjacent to us.  This property is in the construction phase of building a showroom with a display area, service bays, and offices.

Our area is still growing and we want to be part of its growth.  We want to grow in our everyday business practices, to be the best in quality, and committed to our community.  Our owner and management understands that our greatest asset is our customers and our employees!

  This is to deliver what we sold our customer, quality in a timely manner.  In today's service business, we hardly see accommodation.  We want to respond to our customers needs, exceed expectations, while making decisions with the customers safety and best interest in mind.  Accommodation must also include the highest standards of safety, appearance, and profit.
